In order to experience more of what is pleasing to you (or the goal that you are pursuing) the focus on having it must become the dominate thought. Every time that your thoughts are distracted or self-defeating thoughts opposing it are experienced; do this simple mind body connection exercise.
Put your right hand on your heart and state “my external world is the reflection of my internal world”. Then, put your hand on your forehead and state ” I am ‘——’ whatever that is desired to be the main focus:”.
